Day Treatment Services

Services Provided:

  • Psychosocial Rehabilitation – Providing a daily learning environment to foster better understanding of their diagnosis being treated and to provide daily living skills which allow individuals to lead more meaningful lives.
  • Peer Support – Providing a support group of individuals dealing with similar issues to help maintain skills learned in Psychosocial Rehabilitation.

Residential Treatment Services

St. Illa: Addictive Disease (Substance Abuse) Residential Treatment Facility – 26 bed male & female voluntary treatment program providing intensive 30 day treatment education services.

St. Illa: Crisis Stabilization Unit - 16 bed male & female emergency receiving facility providing short term stabilization of those in mental health crisis and/or detoxification related to substance abuse. Services include psychiatric and medical evaulation and treatment, individual and group training, medication management, discharge/aftercare planning, and trasitional care when indicated.

Garden Gate: Women’s Addictive Disease (Substance Abuse) Residential Treatment Facility – 12 bed long-term semi-independent living facility for women and their children providing intensive treatment and education services to foster drug-free homes for the mothers and their children.

Supportive Living/Shelter Plus Care: Providing independent residential supports for those who are currently in treatment and struggling with maintaining housing or for those who are homeless.

Court Ordered Drug Treatment Services

Waycross Judicial Circuit Drug Court Program – Provides mandatory group counseling and drug testing for first time offenders who are selected to participate and accept participation in this 18 month program as ordered by Judge Dwayne Gillis.

Unison's on-site pharmacy is located at our Waycross Adult BH Clinic, 1007 Mary Street, Waycross, GA 31503.  For client's served in locations other than Ware County, Unison provides free delivery of filled medication orders to any of our outpatient mental health clinics within 1 business day.

Developmental Disability Services

Community Access (CA)

These services are designed to assist individuals acquire, retain or improve self-help, socialization and adaptive skills required for active community participation and independent functioning outside their home. Services are provided during the day, evening or the weekend. It can also be delivered individually or in a group.


These services prepare individuals for paid OR unpaid employment through increased skills. They are provided either in a ‘facility based’ OR ‘community based’ setting. Services are designed to support persons not expected to be able to join the general workforce within one (1) year as documented by their individual treatment plan.

Supported Employment (SE)

Supported Employment Services provides ongoing support that enables individuals to perform, and earn income, in a variety of regular work settings.

Community Residential Alternative (CRA)

These services are designed for individuals who require 24/7 intensive levels of support. Persons receiving CRA services reside in licensed and supervised community host home/ life sharing arrangements OR group home settings.

Community Living Supports (CLS)

CLS services help the person live at home. Services can help with bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, shopping, banking, exercising, decision making, supervision of the person taking their medication, or other activities that assist the person in being able to live in their own home.


This service supports people to services, community activities, resources and places that cannot be accessed through Medicaid non-emergency transport nor as a part of another waiver service.

Behavior Support Consultation

This service assists the person with challenging behaviors by providing an expert to develop a positive behavior support plan and to train people supporting that individual in how to implement that plan consistently.

Specialized Medical Supplies (SMS)

This service includes supplies that are needed by the individual and are written into their Individual Service Plan. It might include food supplements, clothing, disposable brief, latex gloves, etc.

Specialized Medical Equipment (SME)

This service provides various types of equipment that would help the person perform daily living activities or interact more independently in their environment. The needed equipment must be included in the Individual Service Plan.
